Sales and Marketing Plan
The sales and marketing plan is drawn up to provide a guide/outline to increase sales. The plan will mainly cover a calendar year and broken down further into month or quarter. For example, it may include a quarterly plan for promotion, advertising and shipment goals.
The sales and marketing plan should be logical in the sense of growth long and short term. In the business plan, the sales and marketing plans provide an outline of each marketing event for the year, covering the details information such as: description of median for event (e.g., media, promotion, trade, sales) the timing for each event and the goal and objectives (e.g., total shipment) cost of events. |
